Fundation Antonio Núñez Jiménez of the Nature and the Man
This museum on Parque Maceo gives a detailed account of the 17,422km canoe journey from the Amazon throught 20 countries to the Caribbean in 1987 made by 432 explorers and led by Cuban writer Antonio Núñez Jiménez (1923–98). One of the canoes used during the journey is the central piece of the museum´s collection.

Alberto Delgado house museum
On December 6th, 1985, the Alberto Delgado’s House Museum was inaugurated in a spacious and pleasant country house, located at the Maisinicú Farm, Trinidad. The martyr´s photos and some of his personal belongings are on display in the museum. He was a member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and was an agent infiltrated in the counterrevolutionary bands, the same bands that assassinated Alberto Delgado.

Fight against Bandits National museum
Since 1984 the National Museum of the Fight Against Bandits has been placed in the building known as the San Francisco de Asís Convent, which pastel-yellow bell tower is the symbol of the city and its highest viewpoint. The museum displays the history of the people’s hbattle against counterrevolution, with particularly heavy fights in the mountains around the city between 1959 and 1965.

Romantic museum
Placed in the palace of the Casa Brunet Count, a wealthy Creole who finished building his house in front of the Plaza Mayor in 1808. It was the first museum founded in Trinidad. Inaugurated in 1973. In its 14 halls are found one of the most valued decorative art collections in Cuba including furniture, dishes and other objects imported by Trinidad’s aristocracy until the mid-19th Century as well as an excellent collection of furniture made by great cabinetmakers from Trinidad. The view of Trinidad from the top of the tower alone is worth the price of admission.

Palacio Cantero Museum
 Built between 1827 and 1830.
It has a magnificent ladder and great neoclassical paintings performed by local and Italian artists. Since 1980, the building is the seat of Trinidad’s History Museum.
