Mejunje Club
Club Menjunje is situated in an amazing venue: basically a ruin converted into a club, frequented by people aged anywhere from 30 to 90. The music goes from traditional music to cuban punk and the dancefloor is usually full of smiling and dancing people. Mind, the transvestite hookers may be very aggressive. Also, drinks are not expensive, but the quality is dubious. You might want to bring your own bottle of rum (subtly of course…).
Address: Marta Abreu 107
Open: 4:00pm to 1:00am
Entrance: 10 Cuban pesos (don´t let them make you pay in CUC!)

Decorative Arts museum
The Decorative Arts museum is in an 18th-century house owned by a rich criolla family. The rooms of the house, located around a court yard, are stuffed full of paintings, furniture, glassware and porcelain. One of the more unusual items include a rocking chair with a carved protruding face at its tip to stop the nanny from falling asleep. At times the courtyard is used for concerts and other events.
