Municipal museum of Viñales
Positioned halfway down Salvador Cisneros, Viñales pine-lined main street, the Museo Municipal occupies the former home of independence heroine Adela Azcuy (1861–1914) and is the perfect place to get to know about the local history.

Museum of Natural Sciences Tranquilino Sandalio de Noda
The most interesting sight, externally at least - some call it Cuba´s weirdest building - is this neo-Gothic-meets-Moorish mansion designed and built by Francisco Guasch. Now a museum, it displays life-size prehistoric animals in the flower gardens and rare species like the cork palm. And of course, interesting architectural details.

National Park of Viñales
This picturesque valley was named well of Cultural interest of humanity in 1999, thanks to all the farms and idyllic villages against iconic mogotes of limestone rock of the region. Stunning views in a quiet environment. There are a number of trails with professional guides of experience. The tours can be from 1.5 km to more than 8 kms and can last from a few hours to all day. These trails are generally found in three valleys, Valley Los Jazmines, Valley the Palmarito and Valle del Silencio, all incredibly beautiful. In this place you can see peasants with their different cultures, rooms cigars by hand and agriculture in its most traditional form.

Biosphere Reserve Península Guanahacabibes
This extensive reserve covers more than 100,000 hectares, including the Guanahacabibes National Park. Its diverse vegetation includes mangroves, swampy meadows, coastal thickets and forests. The fauna includes 170 species of birds, as well as a large number of hutias and local iguanas. To visit between May and October, you can perhaps have the chance to see turtles coming to the coast.
